You may have heard about social networking or social media marketing. These are basically websites that you can use to give people information about your site and do so in a way that you can targeted traffic back to your site. The best way to learn this social marketing is to actually do this yourself on your site.

The first thing you’ll need to do is create the original content you’re attempting to get ranked into the search engines. Obviously you’ll have to have something before you can bookmark it or add it to social media websites. So, do your keyword research and then begin to create your blog post.

There’s a site you can use called socialmarker.com which will help you get started with social bookmarking. What this site does is allow you to quickly bookmark one article or blog entry on multiple sites. It frames each of the “add bookmark” pages then allows you to click and drag the same description, URL, and tags into each of the bookmarking sites. The first time you go to this site, if you haven’t already, you’ll need to add new accounts for the bookmarking sites you’d like to use.

The first thing you’ll add is a title. This title should not only include the blog post title or article title, but should also include the main primary keyword phrase that you’re trying to use to get rankings. If you can start with this as your title, you’ll have a better chance of getting ranked for those keywords.

Your description is one of the more important things you’ll include in these bookmarks. The main reason is because the description is usually what is going to get those clicks back to your website. This means your description should have a strong call to action that gets you clicks.

You’ll be prompted for your web address which you’ll need to supply. Just make sure this is the web address for the exact page that you’re trying to get ranked or “deep linked”. If you use the main domain instead of the specific article or blog post page, you’ll get those links blocked because they’ll be duplicates. Basically, make sure you’re bookmarking only individual pages assuming you’ve already added bookmarks for the main domain using your most appropriate keyword phrase for the entire site.

Tags are also important because they are what you’ll use to get the individual “tag” pages ranked. These tag pages, especially using the long tail keywords or keyword phrases with little competition. This means that you can leverage the search engines to the point where you get not only your blog post ranked, but possibly several of your individual bookmark pages ranked including the tag pages.

These are some relatively easy ways to get traffic back to your website. One of the things about this is that it becomes difficult to stay organized. I personally don’t try too hard to stay organized on this as I do have analytics installed on my website so I can track where most of my traffic comes from. You’ll tend to see patterns that some sites will work better than others at generating traffic.

When Are Voice Professionals Needed?

Filed under: Marketing Articles — Terry J. Daniel @ 4:41 am
by Terry J. Daniel

When you’re putting together a unique marketing strategy and advertising campaign, it’s not easy to ignore the power of multimedia in today’s competitive industry. From radio, television, to online presentations, it’s clear that persuasive marketing still works. A big part of this involves both a visual and audio element. The visual element takes the form of graphics, creative video shoots, and photography. The audio element takes the form of voice actors and voice over talent that can help set your company and brand apart from the rest.

When you’re putting together any sort of marketing, be it an ad campaign or simply a preliminary plan, there are many areas in which a voice over artist can prove invaluable. Remember that just because an individual is a natural, skilled public speaker doesn’t mean that they have a suitable voice for radio, TV airplay, or an online podcast– voice acting isn’t just talking; voice actors and actresses are skilled professionals, and believe me when I say that this shows. Finding the perfect voice professional for your particular job is simply a matter of strategically interviewing and sourcing prospects. Here are a few areas in which professional voice talent can be helpful.

Podcasting. Podcasts are becoming a popular addition to websites and blogs, and can help boost your brand, deliver important messages, and make it easy to highlight your products and services in the form of an announcement. Podcasts do not have to be recorded by a professional, but employing a vocal artist for the script can help you generate the right interest and help broadcast your message more effectively.

Business videos: Many marketers will find themselves developing business videos to be used internally. When you’re introducing a new product or making a sales demonstration to your valued clients, you want to present your message with the greatest possible degree of professionalism. When it comes to staff, clients, and prospective customers engaged in your business videos, professional voice talent can give you the edge.

Training videos or tutorials. Videos made to be used with your new hires, introducing them to the organization or training them in aspects of their jobs, are also great places to put your best foot forward with professional voice work.

Telephone answering services: Organizations that conduct a good deal of business, for example in sales and ordering, often have automated answering systems. If you want your recorded messages to have the professional sheen with which you present yourself as a company, hiring a skilled actor or actress is always preferable to having one of your employees do the job. Your potential clients will hear the difference.

Online videos. Online videos are quickly becoming a popular alternative to commercials and radio segments, especially since they can cost much less to produce than conventional media. Online videos developed with a voice artist can help deliver a narrative, commercial statement, or even an announcement with a professional touch.

In any of these situations (and many more), hiring professional voice actors will prove a highly beneficial way of increasing the power and reach of your marketing message, and ensuring that your presentations are as powerful as they can be.

Are Chiropractic Consulting Groups Legit?

Filed under: Marketing Articles — Matthew Loop, DC @ 7:55 am
by Matthew Loop, DC

When conversing with hundreds of chiropractors at business growth seminars I’ve spoken at over the past couple of years, it is apparent that many have been scammed by practice management consultants. The typical issue that I hear most often is that these “gurus” do not do what is promised and their marketing is very “black-hat” or deceptive. Truthfully, I don’t have respect for people that need to mislead chiropractors or students to get them to join their agency. These guys typically are very good salesman but make empty promises in order to collect that several thousand dollar payday.

There’s nothing wrong with paying for an expensive program when it yields results that make the payment worth wile. The price of a service should be comparable to the benefit that someone receives from the service. Only in a perfect world is this true, because there are chiropractic consultants out there charging an arm and a leg for no results. There are managers and consultants out there that do give equally to what they receive, but they’re few and far between. Most of the time, what you get is a load of bull and fear-mongering. It’s the classic tactic of scaring you into using their services. It’s marketing at its worst. So how do we expect these people in turn to market our chiropractic businesses?

There are several things that you should look for when choosing a solid chiropractic consultant or practice management group. First, make sure that they have a specialty. Too many times I see these guys that have the “best” solutions for everything. What I mean is this. You would never go to a gynecologist to have a brain tumor removed, right? Similarly, you would never go to a practice management group that is primarily known for in-office patient retention for help with internet marketing. You know what they say. If they’re usually the jack of all trades, they’re typically the master of none. Seek out specialists in different areas of your practice that you need to kick into high gear.

One of the biggest things to check for when you’re finding a consultant that’s right for you is whether they have verifiable testimonials. Do they have real people who are satisfied with the results they’ve had with that consultant? Make sure these aren’t scripted testimonials, and that those smiling faces on the promo videos aren’t just paid actors.

Say you’ve decided that you need to seriously amp-up your marketing online utilizing the goldmine of Web 2.0, and you want to find a consultant that can teach you how to do that. Go online to Google and search for “social media chiropractic marketing” and see what you find. When you get this specific, you may find someone who has the answers for you and you alone.

Lastly, it’s important to find a consultant that knows the most innovative marketing strategies. If they’re stuck in the past, there’s no way they can send your chiropractic practice successfully into the future. When it comes to your practice and making it more successful, the biggest issue is new patients. When you improve your marketing and get new patients walking through your door, your whole business will be transformed. This can only happen when you use innovative techniques, and if a practice management group claims to know it all, they most likely don’t know this. Times are changing and consultant groups are not changing with them. Web 2.0 and Social Media marketing strategies have changed the face of business, and you’re going to sink if you don’t change too.

Ninety-five percent of chiropractic businesses don’t know a thing about the power of Web 2.0, and the 5% that do are singing its praises. In fact, they’re the only ones that are truly thriving right now, even in these hard times. When you choose to tap into the power of Web 2.0, you’re putting yourself in the elite.

You will only find one consultant that specializes in this type of marketing who speaks worldwide to businesses about successful integration of social media. Truthfully, you could be the best chiropractor in the world but if you don’t know how to market and massively spread your message in the new era, it doesn’t matter.

by Kylon Trower

I’m sure you are aware that there is no shortage of people rushing to get their piece of the internet pie. There are already millions of online sites and businesses in existence and now here you are in the middle of all the noise. Standing above the crowd is the only way to succeed in this tough business.

Though it isn’t that easy, it is quite simple. Consistency is the name of the game. Far too many times I see marketers advertising there business and next thing you know they vanish. Staying consistent with everything you do is vital to your success.

Now there are several ways to promote and market your business but without these essential ingredients you’re dead in the water. I’ll outline them here is this in simple three step formula.

1. Knowledge is your best defense. By educating yourself and learning to eat, sleep and breathe your craft you will be more efficient and effective when executing your game plan. Make sure you are defending your self against poor marketing methods and you are properly leveraging your time.

2. Discipline is your steady jab and best ally. Your jab is the constant motion and focus you need to wear you opponent. Your opponent is all the competition out there going after your clients attention and credit card. Staying focused and disciplined will allow you to capitalize on your opportunities in the marketplace and steer clear of distractions and scams.

3. Credibility is the big right hook. This is where the business really happens. Its when people know like and trust you and feel comfortable doing business with you. Without this, you can have all the knowledge and discipline in the world but will still end up losing the customer.

Because credibility seems to be the cohesive quality that brings it all together at the point of sale you must stay focused on building this over time. Presenting yourself as a professional is just not enough anymore. You must possess leadership and a command for your subject matter that makes customers feel that you bring value to their lives.

One of the best ways to do this is to constantly share new ideas, strategies and cutting edge techniques with those you encounter. Present fresh new content and you will be seen as a trusted adviser which will increase your sales and conversion ratios tremendously.

There is too much online competition for you to sit back and wait for things to happen. you must be willing to aggressively take massive action and take your piece of the pie. Your leadership and direction will pay off and things will really start to happen.

Can I Know How To Find The Best Place To Advertise Online?

Filed under: Marketing Articles — Don Bethune @ 6:16 am
by Don Bethune

This question, \”What’s the best place to advertise online?\” is one that I have toiled over. My husband and I are in the process of starting our own business and we are looking to see if we can get some free website traffic.

We have noticed that there are many companies that offer some website traffic or increased website traffic. The one thing that we have also discovered is that these companies only place your ad in places that they think are the right demographical location for your product. The truth of the matter is though is that they donat even know our product enough to know that it does not need to be limited to what they determine is the correct demographical location. This will cause us to loose advertising which in turn causes us to loose potential revenue.

What we need is a company that will take the chance of selling us advertising package without any apprehension. After all if we trust them enough to invest our money then in turn they should also believe in our business enough to advertise without the limitations of demographical locations.

I am sure you have heard of that car insurance company that says aIf we canat save you money, weall find someone that can!a That is the motto I am looking for in an advertising company. It is important to us that we find a company that has different specialties according to what products they advertise for.

Of course the first and most important step in this transaction is to have a solid mutual understanding of the product that we want advertised. We believe that with this understanding the advertising company would be able to offer us a free trial as a good faith effort. This would show that they are not afraid of failing on the amount of traffic they can increase on our site.

Really the fact is as with anyone that starting and managing our own business is full enough of its own risk. Considering that we are not comfortable to just to pick an advertising company at random from the phone book. Simply put that is not a risk we are willing to take.

The risk of advertising with a company that can’t produce enough traffic is almost as scary as a company that can handle the ad, but they just don’t have a good feel for who this type of business is geared to.

This all brings me back to the same question aCan I know how to find the best advertising online?a With all of this in mind we came to the conclusion that the only real way to find out is to listen to what others are saying. This is especially true of those who have there own businesses and have gone through this same process. The fact is that in the long run we will have to be willing to take a chance on what they say.

The 3 Main Ingredients Missing From Newbie Internet Marketers

Filed under: Marketing Articles — Kylon Trower @ 5:35 am
by Kylon Trower

I’m sure you are aware that there is no shortage of people rushing to get their piece of the internet pie. There are already millions of online sites and businesses in existence and now here you are amidst the masses. Because of the fierce competition, you must do everything you can to stand head and shoulders above the crowd.

This is not such an easy thing to do as it does require work, but the basic principles are very simple to learn. Without these foundational pillars I’ve seen marketers here today and gone tomorrow. Consistency is one of the keys to your success.

Now with all the ways you can promote and get out there, you must understand a few basics that I’m going to outline here. I’ll give you a quick boxing analogy that may help sum it all up.

1. Knowledge is your best defense. By educating yourself and learning to eat, sleep and breathe your craft you will be more efficient and effective when executing your game plan. Make sure you are defending your self against poor marketing methods and you are properly leveraging your time.

2. Discipline is that steady and consistent jab. Your jab is the constant motion and the focus you need to wear on your opponent. Your opponents are the other marketers (good or bad) lobbying for your potential clients. Your focus and discipline will allow you to stay the course when others get distracted, quit or go in another direction.

3. Credibility is the big right hook. This is where the business really happens. Its when people know like and trust you and feel comfortable doing business with you. Without this, you can have all the knowledge and discipline in the world but will still end up losing the customer.

Because credibility seems to be the glue that makes everything work, it is extremely important that you stand out and present yourself as a professional. Though professionalism is a must, in these times you must go the extra mile and position yourself properly.

A few good ways to do this is to constantly share new ideas, strategies and cutting edge techniques with those you encounter. Present fresh new content and You will b viewed as an expert which will result in increased sales and profits.

There is way too much competition on the internet for you to expect things to come to you. If you want to succeed online you must be willing to stretch yourself and go the extra mile. People will appreciate you and look to you for leadership and direction. Once this starts to happen thats when business growth really starts to accelerate.

Beware of Chiropractic Coaching Fraud

Filed under: Marketing Articles — Matthew Loop, DC @ 7:32 am
by Matthew Loop, DC

When I’ve spoken at chiropractor seminars or homecomings, especially within the last two years, I’ve encountered loads of veteran doctors and recent graduates that have been victims of chiropractic coaching scams and bad practice management consulting. Usually, if it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is. I find that many DC’s join these companies simply out of fear of failure. What I don’t like, is the manipulation that sometimes occurs with desperate chiropractors and the “sharks” that take advantage of them.

This isn’t just to warn good chiropractors, it’s to warn the consulting groups as well. If you don’t have something worth consulting about, get out of the business because you’re taking money from innocent people. For all of you that charge too much and just are out there to support your own interests. take a hike. You know why these consulting groups aren’t worth their weight in salt? They still use ancient marketing tactics that didn’t even work when they were used in the 1970’s, that’s why. The world of marketing is constantly changing, and if you’re working with a consultant that doesn’t care enough for you to be up-to-the-minute in their practice, then they’re just no good.

Do an intense evaluation from inside out with your chiropractic practice, finding those areas that you need help with. Even in this sagging economy, many DC’s are doing very well. I typically find that the marketing and new patient acquisition aspects of most practices is what chiropractors want to substantially ramp-up. If you need new patients, you should first seek out forms of marketing and advertising that are free. Believe it or not, the best advertising is free in today’s time. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. For example, did you know you can use YouTube and create videos to bring patients into the office and dominate the competition and search engines? Did you know you could use Myspace or Facebook to connect with local people in your area and brand yourself and your office?

When times are rough, it’s the innovators and creative marketers that survive and prosper. But if you turn to a chiropractic consultant to show you these cutting-edge methods, you’re throwing your money away. None of them are trained or knowledgeable of how to use Web 2.0 and social media to get your business on the fast track to success. And if any of them say they know the best methods and they’ve been using them for years, you’re falling right into a scam!

Keep these things in mind when you’re selecting a practice management group. Are their testimonials from prior customers actually real? Sometimes they are not. Next, make sure they specialize in exactly what you need. A sort of “handy-man” consultant can’t necessarily fix the very specific problems you’re having. You need someone who can work for you and you alone. If you want someone who focuses on internet marketing, don’t pick someone who knows nothing about it. Lastly, make sure they’re up to the times. If they aren’t knowledgeable in internet marketing and world communications, they can’t help you one bit. Not only do they have to know about these things, they have to be able to DO them.

To get you started on some free chiropractic marketing and advertising for your office, here are a few sites that you want to be on and continuously contribute content to, YouTube.com, Myspace.com, Wordpress.com, Facebook.com, Digg.com, EzineArticles.com, Free-Press-Release.com, and Twitter.com.

There are so many websites with just as much potential, but these are the best to start with. These sites are totally free, and the marketing power is the strongest in the world today. Within no time, you’re going to have countless new patients walking through your door. Not only that, you’ll have the opportunity to create multiple streaming income from other sources, only adding to the power of your business.

Just so it is understood, not all chiropractic coaching groups are frauds. There are a select few good ones that have proven themselves and have gained trust and credibility within the profession. Ask around to other colleagues to get honest opinions before you pick a firm. This is a big decision and has the potential to give your practice an incredible jump-start.

Chiropractic Website Marketing Warning

Filed under: Marketing Articles — Matthew Loop, DC @ 3:54 am
by Matthew Loop DC

Chances are that you have a chiropractic marketing website online and it’s producing no results for you. You aren’t alone; scores of chiropractors are experiencing the same poor results with the old way of marketing their practice. Even those with a website are still in the dust. Most chiropractors and their consultants don’t know anything about driving new patients to their websites and getting people through the doors. The old claims of webmasters never seem to come to fruition.

Webmasters give you false claims about your potential success online because they want to keep charging you an arm and a leg for their services. No matter how professional, appealing, and pricey your website is, it isn’t worth its weight in salt if no one knows it’s there and comes to visit it. Your website could be a money pit.

If you’re a chiropractor that is seeking new patients and other forms of income, then you need to understand about internet marketing in today’s world. Marketing is what will bring people to your chiropractic website and to your office. Now, there are several types of marketing online from Pay-Per-Click, Banner Ads, email marketing, and social media marketing. Which one should you choose?

Understand this, unlike many have told you, paid marketing and advertising is quickly becoming a dying breed. This is because more and more business owners are waking up to the massive potential of social media which has been blanketing the news lately. Putting together a strategic marketing campaign on social media sites like Myspace, YouTube, Facebook, Digg, LinkedIn and many others can explode your business and website traffic literally overnight. The best part about it is that these networks are 100% free!

When you’re starting out in this massively popular marketing realm online, you need a mentor that can help you drive thousands of new visitors to your website. That means potential patients that are interested in your practice and want to know more. When you do this alone, you could potentially waste a lot of time and money trying to figure it all out with poor results. Don’t try to reinvent the wheel.

Using video on YouTube to market yourself and your chiropractic practice is one of the initial powerhouse methods of marketing. When you target the right demographic in your community, you can see many new patients every month passing through your doors, while creating multiple streams of income from other locations online.

After only a few short months, some of my videos were seen by literally thousands of people. If this were a Pay-Per-Click engine, can you even imagine how much that would have cost? That’s a huge amount of money! You can get some phenomenal indexing for your video on Google if you know the tricks of the trade. Soon you’ll find yourself at the top of the search engine, for a price that’s cheaper than you ever imagined.

Webmasters want you to believe that your website is a self-contained success remedy, but it just isn’t true. That fancy website of yours can be a money pit if you don’t have the expertise to guide people to it. Social media marketing and Web 2.0 have the power to drive thousands of people to your site to learn about your chiropractic practice. And all of this can happen with minimal effort, even as you sleep!

I fired my sponsor and now make six figures

Filed under: Marketing Articles — John Wallen @ 9:56 am
by John Wallen

I love being a part of a work at home opportunity. I have no doubt it’s one of the best industries to belong to. Affiliate opportunities are plentiful with a lot of great companies, but what always seems to strike me as strange is, that only a very small percentage of net workers actually get to a full time level.

Many who join a home business treat it like a hobby or just loose interest an give up because they thought their business would be a magic money button. But many are out there putting in the time doing what the upline says, and not getting even close to great results.

I was the net worker that was in with the bunch doing everything my sponsor was teaching me. But for almost 11 months I had no positive growth in my business, and decided to fire my sponsor. I put a halt to everything he was telling me to do.

I didn’t just quit my business, but I was sitting in on as many free home business seminars I could on the internet with different companies. I figured the more I learned, the better my chances of picking up on at least one idea that might offer some good results.

But why would I want to keep duplicating what so many others are doing without very much success. I don’t even waste my money buying leads or geneology lists anymore. There all garbage and a waste of time in my opinion.

As I said before, looking for new information and learning new things about this industry, I think is important. So I like to look through different ezines, and that’s when I found something that blows the old school ways out of the water, and breathed new life into my business, big time!

So if your having this same problem and it’s getting you down, I understand. May be you want to consider firing your upline. I have no regrets that I did. This system works like nothing I’ve seen before. Besides, you don’t even have to tell them, but be sure to pass this down to you downline.

Chiropractic Marketing - How to Beat the Current Recession

Filed under: Marketing Articles — Matthew Loop, DC @ 6:55 am
by Matthew Loop, DC

I have trouble believing that it’s been a whole 3 years since I brought the power of Web 2.0 marketing and social media to the chiropractic profession. After humbly beginning to market on sites like YouTube, and Facebook, my success has grown to countless social media outlets all over the internet. The growth of the Web 2.0 boom could almost be labeled as faster than an online virus expanding for 3 solid years. The internet and communications are continuing to change with every passing second, and this expansion has the ability to expand your chiropractic practice with equal force and intensity. Not only that; the potential for earning multiple forms of income, simultaneously, is amazing.

The days of back-breaking, paid marketing and advertising are over by many standards. In the struggling economy that is upon us, chiropractors that still use “stone-age” methods to acquire new patients are finding that success is few and far in-between. Don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone and embrace these exciting and much-needed changes in chiropractic marketing.

I know the economy of this nation is bleak, but my part of the economy is actually succeeding, and there is a short list of other chiropractors that are finding tremendous success and countless new patients during this time. How are they doing it? They’ve tapped into the goldmine of Web 2.0 and social media marketing. So, do you want to strike gold, or be left out in the cold?

Here are some of the sites that are helping me reach higher levels of success each day. I suggest you give them a try, and see the magic they can work for your chiropractic practice. The Web 2.0 powerhouses include YouTube.com, Squidoo.com, EzineArticles.com, StumbleUpon.com, Facebook.com, Twitter.com, Myspace.com, Free-Press-Release.com, Wordpress.com, Photobucket.com, Furl.com, and eHow.com. Give them a try, and you won’t be disappointed.

I could easily list over 200 websites but for times sake, we’ll keep it at a few. It’s important to have a systematic blueprint or checklist to run-through when learning to harness the power of social media. The good news is that you, as a practicing chiropractor, DO NOT have to do it all yourself. These tasks can be very simple to outsource if you understand and have a little direction.

These tools are easy to learn when you have the right teacher, and anyone can get the hang of it. When you are coachable, you can exponentially increase your chances of success today and in the future with this free chiropractic marketing.

You can even make your practice an online money-maker with Web 2.0 social media. There’s nothing that beats getting-up in the morning and knowing that Web 2.0 has been working for you throughout the night, making more money and connections. Sometimes it seems like a dream that business can happen so effortlessly and successfully, but there are other chiropractors who are living this dream, so I know it’s a reality.

When you create other forms of income while marketing your practice online, you make your practice entirely recession-proof; nothing can stop you. You need to be courageous and an innovator to do this. You have to think out of the box and ride the wave of the future.

Here’s a great example of just one of the tactics you can use online: Think of some piece of knowledge that is of value to people online. Perhaps you create a channel with a weekly discussion series about some topic in chiropractics. When you do something like this and offer your services on the web, the world audience will listen to you and know who you are. This means that when the time comes for them to need a chiropractor, you’re the first one they think of! When you create a YouTube video of this kind, you won’t believe the traffic of new patients you’ll get.

Be creative and you will find this new, powerful virtual world will bring you boatloads of new patients, build social proof, and allow you to generate multiple streams of residual income.
