Shoppers love to save money especially more so as the economy of several world markets turn sour. Consumers already feel the pinch when they visit the gas pumps in their cars. They feel the pinch when they order food to eat or diapers for their baby’s behind. It is much harder to save money when most of it seems to be fading fast out of your wallet/purse.

For retailers including JcPenney, this scenario is a bad one. In what way can people get the items they need and save some money? The old-fashioned way: coupons.

Retailing giant JcPenney has decided customers should be given some incentive during these hard times by using coupons in their stores and on the website. For this reason, JcPenney has all kinds of coupons that would appeal to any shopper.

If you are interested in saving money and have to go to JcPenney, then locate some coupons for you to use. If you know you’ll go over a certain amount, then find a coupon that fits your purchase. For instance, for large purchases you can use a coupon that will take off a certain amount from the entire amount you buy.

How do you go about getting money saving coupons? Begin by looking in your mailbox or look at your commonly viewed Wednesday and Sunday papers. Advertisers love to get the attention of customers and potential customers. What easier way than sending advertisements to places that they look?

However, the Internet has a vast array of website grabbing coupons. All you have to do is locate the one you want, download it and print it. Be sure you print out more than one because circumstances change when you are shopping. The JcPenney website also has offers for customers to make use of.

JcPenney is no longer a clothing only store. There’s a photography studio and optical studio inside as well. These areas also offer their own kinds of coupons including a $49 kid eyeglass package. This coupon can be found via the JcPenney official website.

Yet, be aware that websites have a tendency not to update often so a coupon you might want to use could be out of date. Always be sure before you checkout at the website or the store that your coupon is active.

The Freelancing World

Filed under: Marketing Articles — Ray Edwards @ 7:53 am
by Ray Edwards

Sir Walter Scott, a renowned Scottish historical novelist and poet, first coined the word ?freelance?. In his first book, Ivanhoe, which he wrote in 1819, he referred to a medieval mercenary warrior as a “freelancer.” The term has since then shifted and gained many more meanings. In the 1860s, freelance became figurative, and in 1903, the Oxford English Dictionary officially recognized it as a verb.

Today, the word “freelance” has changed into different forms: as a noun, freelance or freelancer; as a verb, a photographer who freelances; and as an adverb, he works freelance.

Freelancing has become a career choice for many different markets, including copywriting. Freelancing can give copywriters greater benefits over a regular job at an advertising agency or firm. The flexibility and options freelancers hold cause them to feel that freelancing is superior to employed work.

Today, more and more copywriters are leaving the security of their day jobs and engaging in freelance copywriting work because of the following factors:

* There are a variety of projects for freelance copywriters. The Internet offers more opportunities than regular employed positions. Freelancing helps those who want more opportunities, better projects, and a higher salary. A freelance copywriter can also work on multiple projects at once: They can write web content for one client while working on a sales letter at the same time for another client.

* Fast Turnaround on Projects. Most freelance copywriting jobs are time based, meaning there is a time limit within which you have to complete your project. These jobs are usually done fast and allow freelance copywriters to move on to new projects quickly.

* More Freedom and Flexibility. A freelance copywriter can choose which projects to write, where they work, and when they work. Despite that freelancing does require contracts, freelance copywriting is still a no employee-no employer work relationship. Freelance copywriting also frees someone from the normal confines of a 9 to 5 job. Since a freelance copywriter can be their own boss, they can choose their own working hours. This freedom allows freelance copywriters to pursue other interests, take on more jobs, and help take care of their family.

* Improved Income. Freelance copywriters can usually bring in higher income for their projects because they are hired for their specific talents and skills. This is a plus because they are paid well but do not have to work full-time at a firm, nor do they have to give some of it to an advertising agency. Though income for freelancers can vary, most freelancers still benefit from it. Freelance copywriters charge by the hour, by the day, or on per-project basis. Others use value-based pricing methods instead of imposing a flat rate. Payments are arranged based on the agreement between the copywriter and client. The payment could be done upfront, staggered, or paid when the project is completed.

Today, freelancers can easily find work through the Internet. The Internet facilitates work between freelance copywriters and clients around the world. These jobs can range from writing short articles, web content, and sales letters. There is a lot of demand out there for freelance copywriters and there are a lot of opportunities for good freelance copywriting.

The Six Important Things To Keep In Mind When Teleprospecting

Filed under: Marketing Articles — Terry Stanfield @ 6:37 am
by Terry Stanfield

Most businesses have staff on the phone with clients every day reviewing accounts and answering questions, and while they may have dedicated business to business telemarketing staff, every call can be used for teleprospecting. Teleprospecting is determining the interest a current or prospective client has in your company’s products or services. While your staff is on the phone with clients giving them updates, reviewing their accounts, and answering questions, they could also be teleprospecting for your company.

Businesses who take the time to teleprospect can significantly increase their revenues. You should be able to determine the client’s interest level by the end of your conversation and should have a follow up call, appointment, or commitment from them. There are a few important things to keep in mind when teleprospecting to achieve the greatest results.

Give your teleprospecting a personal touch and really connect with your clients. Teleprospecting is more effective when you know exactly what your client wants or needs and communicate with them in a way that is personal.

Plan your teleprospecting calls and have a plan for when clients call you by thinking about what you expect to hear from your client and what their needs are. Every conversation is an opportunity to teleprospect, but you will need non-pushy ways to bring the subject up whether you call your client or they call you about other matters.

Make sure your teleprospecting conversation is engaging; don’t talk too much and make sure you appeal to your clients needs. Successful business to business telemarketing involves asking questions and giving your client time to talk to you about what they want and how you can fulfill their needs.

Make sure you answer all of your client’s questions, and prepare yourself for the most common ones. Even if a client asks a question that you are not prepared for be sure to address it, and if you don’t know the answer find out and get back to them.

Make your client or prospect aware of the benefits of your product or service. People want to know how a product or service will help them, so be sure to offer personalized ways in which your product or service will do just that.

When you teleprospect you will ultimately generate appointments, call backs, and other communication that you need to do to follow up with your original call. It is important to keep track of your calls so that your future communication commitments are not forgotten or overlooked.

Every call your business takes is a great opportunity to teleprospect. Even if you don’t have a dedicated business to business telemarketing team your employees who speak with clients and prospects on the phone can still successfully teleprospect with these tips.

Six Mistakes That Telesales Managers Should Avoid

Filed under: Marketing Articles — Terry Stanfield @ 5:53 am
by Terry Stanfield

Business to business telemarketing can be challenging for both call agents and telesales managers. Many people do not respond favorably to outbound telemarketing and managers face the challenge of keeping all their agents up to date with the latest training and techniques. It is easy for both call agents and telesales managers to make mistakes when conducting calls as more and more innovative techniques become necessary to close sales.

If your telesales team is not performing as well as you would like it to, you may be making some common mistakes. Here are six mistakes telesales managers should avoid to ensure that their team is as productive and successful as possible.

Many telesales managers do not adequately prepare their call agents with tips and techniques specific to the target market they will be working with. A lack of preparation can cause both agents and managers to miss out on many potential sales.

When call agents talk too much and listen too little they loose potential sales; this is one of the major mistakes telemarketers make. The same is true for telesales managers; they need to listen to the concerns and ideas of their team to be able to manage effectively.

When telesales managers fail to implement positive change they also risk forfeiting success in business to business telemarketing. New techniques, scripts, and approaches are always evolving so be sure to embrace change for your team to stay on top.

Another common mistake is failing to follow up with team members when a change has been made or new policy implemented. When a telesales manager does not follow up to ensure changes are working or being implemented properly these innovations are wasted.

Some telesales managers have a hard time dealing with challenges and finding solutions. Because telesales is a tough field to be successful in telesales managers must be able to identify and solve problems instead of ignoring them.

As with managers in any industry, telesales managers are responsible for their entire team and their success as well as their failures. Don’t make the mistake of passing blame when something goes wrong or if your team is underperforming; the success of your team is your responsibility.

Business to business telemarketing is a challenging field, but with the right attitude and strategy you can be a successful telesales manager. Avoid these common mistakes and you will be on your way to the top.

Identify Existing Issues before Redesigning Offices

Filed under: Marketing Articles — Hugh Roberts @ 3:33 am
by Fredrick Simmons

The notion of office planning is a comparatively recent one. Since the beginning of “the working day” and “the office”, little thought has been focused on the way an office was designed. If any thought was considered, it was mostly restricted to the visual appeal of an work space and this has, sadly, remained the normal assumption when a business thinks of an office design. Whilst visual aesthetics remain a vital aspect of office planning, modern businesses now view office design representing the much wider concept of space management. Cutting-edge office design software not only creates a visually pleasing interior, it also attempts to create an efficient and useable working space.

Office design is important for a variety of reasons, for both staff and the company as a whole. For the company, modern office design software gives the opportunity to create a place of business that shows a strong corporate identity. It is here that visual aesthetics reach their most paramount purpose as they exist to demonstrate to a visiting customer about the company, what it values, what its priorities are and how it perceives itself. First impressions count and the visual appeal of the space that customers see first is most important.

For staff, too, good office design is incredibly important. Visually, a well-designed office will increase employees morale. An workplace should be an inspirational area to work and not just a “working space”. Just as for clients, usingoffice design software to brand a workplace with a strong corporate identity can encourage a positive work culture and encourage staff to work in a way relevant to the values of the business.

Exceptional office refurbishment also has a more practical function as it takes into account how an office space will be used and applies that information to design a practical and useful space. It should also include elements that will help to support employees with special needs, such as staff with disabilities. In this regard, office design works together with workplace health and safety in order to make a cohesive, practical and pleasing environment for all employees.

It is necessary to know that office design is an continuing practicality, rather than a one-off design occurrence. The office design software must keep pace with the demands natural in a working space, where how an office is utilized is continuously changing. New workplace and safety laws must also be adhered to. Finally, the changing nature of a company’s logo and corporate identity is an extra reason why it’s vital to keep office design modern.

There are two options when considering office design software: whether it will be a new fit-out or whether it will be an office refurbishment. A new fit-out should be evaluated for current premises, as well as new ones, as it allows a business the special chance to create a customized plan that works in conjunction with a company’s workplace needs. The second choice is an office refurbishment, which is an excellent choice if the basic structure of the workplace is still adequate for employees needs and allows the opportunity to update and modernize economically.

There are numerous aspects to consider in an office refurbishment. Priority should be given to considerations of how a office will be used. What are the traffic flows in the office? Where should meeting rooms be located? What are the unique needs of employees who may have special needs? All of these questions must be met by the office refurbishment if a office is to work practically. Additionally, thought should be given to the storage needs of an office, what equipment will be used and where it should be placed, where the power and data points are (or should be), what kind of light sources are in the office and where they are coming from and any sound or sound-proofing requirements. Visually, thought should be given to color schemes, logos and finishes that work together to construct a professional effect that emphasizes the corporate brand and identity.

When contemplating how to develop and execute your office design, a company can hire a professional design company. There are many businesses that concentrate on corporate design and a company can use this specialist knowledge to develop a tailored plan with a minimum of fuss. An alternative option is to use office design software. This is an option that has only become available to the general public relatively recently. It has the potential to let a company to economically redesign or refurbish their space. Whichever option is chosen, however, it should be the option that will achieve a businesses design aims within budget.

How do you choose the right MLM software for your business?

Filed under: Marketing Articles — Todd Schuyler @ 3:39 am
by Todd Schuyler

With the many MLM software products out there already, how do you choose the correct that is right for you? Pick a reputable vendor. There are many fly-by-night software companies that make many claims of experience, know how and MLM software gadgetry. Unless you are willing to put your business at risk, choose a vendor that has a proven track record. Click Here to visit a very reputable software company with products to boost your MLM sales.

Their Track records are built over many years of working with Direct Selling companies, not just selling a software package a few times. Search at least six references. Remember that vendors will be eager to provide only their best references. You might be surprised to find a different story when you call companies not included in your reference list.

Check out the MLM software company’s office. You not only choose the MLM software but also choose the vendor’s support services. If the vendor is not able to provide support services acceptably, what will you do when you need to change your compensation plan or add a new input field to the order entry screen?

Remember that there is only one constant among all MLM companies; they constantly change things. And your MLM software will need to be changed as well. At the vendor’s office, meet the vendor’s people that will service you. See what kind of people they are and how long they have worked for the vendor. Be willing to pay for experience and competence. You are paying far less in the long run.

Stay away from small MLM software companies. Small software companies, to compete with larger established firms, must offer software at bargain prices. This often puts them on shaky financial ground during their most critical years. Companies that are trying to save money by purchasing an MLM software from these small software houses find themselves virtually abandoned later on when they need assistance. The problem is that servicing one highly successful client can consume virtually all of the human resources of a small software company leaving the other clients left out in the cold.

The more deadly problem is that smaller companies tend to go out of business without warning. If you value your business, stay away from the small vendors and stick to those that have staying power and a long track record. Buy an MLM software package that allows you to create your own reports. Many packages force you to live only with those reports they put on the menus. Managers must resort to running large reports to answer small questions or concerns instead of small exception reports on demand. Small exception reports can be reviewed quickly and accurately. Compare features.

MLM software is designed to handle specific business issues and often has a great deal of difficulty dealing with matters outside their original design. It’s difficult to force a software product to do things it was never intended to do. Veteran computer buyers compare features and capabilities, side by side, of one package to another. Ask the vendor which features they consider are unique to their package compared to others.

Please remember that you are not just buying a computer; you are buying software, expertise, emergency support services, programming services, and starting a long-term relationship. Choose your MLM software vendor wisely. Do not be tempted to penny pinch in the computer area. If you do, you may cripple your chances for success. Click Here to get an Amazing Software Suite Package that is having a incredible special price offer. It can give you tremendous sales and leads for your MLM home business.

Beware of the Unlimited Bandwidth Web Hosting Providers

Filed under: Marketing Articles — Ricardo d Argence @ 4:07 am
by Ricardo d Argence

For web site hosts the most important thing to know about is bandwidth. The quantity of data which can be sent at one time is called “bandwidth”.

The less bandwidth there is, the slower the pages take to load, regardless of the amount of visitors to the site. With more visitors, each visitor is going to have to wait his or her turn if you don’t have enough bandwidth to accommodate everyone. When selecting a hosting plan, you have to consider the bandwidth you will need.

Be careful when someone claims they provide unlimited bandwidth or monthly transfer. Anyone claiming unlimited bandwidth is simply lying. There’s no such thing as Unlimited Bandwidth.

I have never come across a broadband service provider claiming to offer an Internet connection with unlimited bandwidth. How can a web hosting company provide unlimited bandwidth to customers if it doesn’t own its own access lines?

Usually, high bandwidth sites on such unlimited plans are disconnected and then no refund is granted. In most cases, the web host will claim that a violation of the terms of service or policy of acceptable use has been committed by the website.

When visiting sites that promote unlimited bandwidth as an incentive to create an account, carefully read the Acceptable Use Policy and the Terms of Service. There will be fine text to read about the unlimited disclaimer.

If you look first for web hosting services (those who state clearly bandwidth offered), you must attempt your best estimate and carefully monitor your usage for the first few months. When estimating, remember these factors. How many users will access your web site? How many pages to be access? How big are the graphic and HTML files?

More bandwidth is necessary when viewing multimedia files, running computer programs, and downloading files. There is a lot of bandwith required for flash web sites. THe most bandwidth is used when running virtual reality programs and full-length 3-D presentations.

Even though it isn’t entirely precise it still allows you to work with something until your site has been up for a good amount of time and until actual statistics have been made. Do not fall for an unlimited bandwidth trap which some companies will toss out in order to lure you in.

Vacation Packages Are Great But You Can Have MORE!

Filed under: Marketing Articles — Lucas Trottier @ 5:06 pm
by Lucas Trottier

If you’ve heard of any of the other travel or vacation clubs like GRN or Coastal resorts then I’m sure you’ve heard of the amazing claims their affiliate’s are saying, some are true some may not be. Previously Global Resorts were the only ones who could really lay claim to a high end luxury travel industry as an home business to be seriously looked at. This was true but it is no longer the case.

Now there’s a better company with the same idea but more accessibility, more destinations, more options. But by far the most important more help making you and your business achieve your dreams.

Now let us step back a bit a look through all these claims and see if things are as they say they are. Fist it’s true that the luxury travel industry is a huge player on the world economic stage. The amount of money that circulates in the industry is measured in the billions so that’s a fact. Now normally big business is inaccessible to the average person because it usually takes big money to make big money. This is a truly important idea to keep in mind because in the past GRN created a way for the average person to gain access to those income streams and they were basically alone in doing so.

Now I think that the idea of competition and a free market are good ideas because they help insure that it’s the consumer who wins out being as it means that whatever product or service purchased it’s of high quality and well worth their hard earned money. This also means that though the consumer should be getting the highest quality product it leaves them with only the ability to buy not to sell. That’s only half the equation so really only half the power. The perpetual leverage income stream is an excellent cure for this. If you’ve never heard of perpetual leverage then it’s time to learn about it. It will blow your mind.

What I’m getting at here is that there is a gap in income in the world today that I’d like to see bridged by more people more often. To do this you need to be able to do two things. First you need to get involved with an industry that has large amounts of money flowing through it. Second you need to get in a position where when a sale is made you benefit from that sale. Keep in mind that it’s only when a sale is made that you can have any income created in any business. OK now that we know that lets get back to MOR Vacations and the affiliate marketing position.

Another important fact is that global resorts was very successful and conversely so where their affiliates. It created in a short amount of time an entirely new cash stream not just for the company but most important for the individual people working with them.

However for those in the know something else becomes clear, not only was this a new income source for one company but it showed a lot of room for a whole new market. So now we come to the MOR Vacations. So first GRN has proven that a giant untapped market exists in the vacations industry. MOR Vacations has made it their purpose to tap that market and share 75% of the money they make with their affiliates. That’s right up to 75% of the sale goes to the affiliate that is a fact. This is an great thing and I by nature and conscious effort am not someone who gets excited without making sure something is what it says it is.

MOR Vacations have learned everything that could be learned from GRN and then went ahead and made it even better. What you might want to try is to print out the offer that GRN presents and the offer MOR presents and compared side by side. The conclusion should be obvious MOR truly had more to offer and more ways to get involved, that is simply a fact. So without any real sales or even retail experience I got involved and it’s been just getting better and better everyday.

If you’d like more good things like fun and wealth and time then follow the link and let me and my team help you get more of what you want.

Sincerely Lucas Trottier

Tips For Switching to Freelance Copywriting

Filed under: Marketing Articles — Ray Edwards @ 6:04 am
by Ray Edwards

Many people are looking for new ways to make money as the prices of commodities continue to rise. Picking up a second job has become very appealing, despite the fact that it is difficult and adds stress to your current job and personal life. This is also even more difficult for those already working in an established career such as copywriting. Fortunately there is a way to make more money as a copywriter without having to pick up a second job: Freelancing.

Freelancing has become a successful option for many copywriters who need to make more money. Unlike taking on a second job where you have to learn new skills, freelance copywriting allows you to practice your current profession in a new setting. This way, you are able to use the skills you learned as an employed copywriter to earn more money.

Freelance copywriters can earn more money because they no longer work for a company or firm, meaning that all the income from a project goes directly into their pockets and not to the advertising agencies. Freelance copywriters can also acquire more simultaneous work than employed copywriters because they control their project load. Also, if copywriters work hard enough and really practice improving their product, they can work more efficiently, finish projects quicker, and take on more projects in a given time period than regular copywriters.

Freelance copywriters are also in great control of their work schedule. At a normal job, you’re locked into a work schedule and have a set amount of hours you have to be at the office. But as a freelancer you control your hours, you must only complete the project by the deadline, your work schedule is then up to you. There is a lot of freedom in freelance work that you can’t find in a lot of careers.

Another great benefit to freelance copywriting is that you can work from anywhere that has an Internet connection. The World Wide Web and high bandwidth allow people to telecommute, meaning they can “commute” to work via the Internet. Therefore a copywriter doesn’t have to be in the same area as their client. Which means freelance copywriters can work from anywhere in the world.

Even with all these benefits, becoming a freelancer takes a lot of work. Here are some helpful pointers that will show you what is involved in becoming a freelance copywriter:

Build Up Your Name

As a freelance copywriter, your workflow will dramatically rely on how well known you are. Which means you need to spend some time getting your name out into the market. It’s good to attend copywriting seminars and workshops in order to learn and meet people. This way you can make contacts and start networking with other copywriters out there. Ask for referrals from people you know in the business. You should also build a portfolio that has examples of your best work and testimonials from your past clients. Many copywriters do not have websites, so this can give you a competitive edge out there.

You also need to consistently do good work. Your business will be built on the quality of your product. All the advertising in the world won?t get you any business if you can’t consistently produce good work. Therefore you must do your best all the time. Subsequently, your success will grow as your skill grows, so you should also continue to learn about your field. There is a wealth of information out there, so go ahead and search for “copywriting tutorials” check into some books by copywriting experts, like Dan Kennedy. This will help your business greatly.

You need to run a good business as well. This means that you will need to treat people professionally and get your work done on time. Difficult copywriters have a difficult time getting work, so be personable. Also, if you miss deadlines, you will hurt your credibility.

Hopefully this article gave you an overview of freelance copywriting. If you’re interested in pursuing freelancing more seriously, then go ahead and do some more research to see if it would be a good move for you.
