If you don’t want your articles to be rejected, you need to make sure that your articles conform to the standards set by publishers. Some of these rules are the following: Your articles must be free from sales pitches, hyperlinks on the article body, and inappropriate content.

If you want a high profit article marketing business you are going to need to outsource. I understand that not everyone can start out doing this, but you need to as soon as you can. The average marketing article is usually around 500 words focused on a single topic. This topic is also usually related to the service the author’s website is about so it can deliver targeted traffic on their chosen niche.

If you’re not sure how to write quality informative articles that bring out the best information about your business, you can hire a professional to do that for you. When you finish an article, you get a sense of accomplishment. It feels really good. However, submitting articles to directories can be daunting, especially because you need to repeat the same process again and again.

Spice up your articles. To make your copies more interesting to read, you may insert humor, trivia, and personal stories whenever appropriate. You can also utilize new writing style that will fit the profile of your target audience.

Procrastination and fear of rejection are the two most common reasons for not submitting articles. You simply must push past the procrastination and do it now. Procrastinate later, do it now.

Once you sink your teeth into article writing, you will carry the responsibility of writing at least 5-7 articles per day if you want to easily excel in this field. Thus, you will need hundreds of topics ideas that will benefit both your business and your potential clients.

Be consistent. To strengthen your online presence and to promote easy recall, you must consistently write and distribute articles to submission sites as long absences can make your potential clients forget about you.

Articles can be of any format including white papers, case studies, guides, tutorials, quick manuals and the like. Anything that provides valuable information to your readers can be considered an article, and should be disseminated to the public to help drive traffic to your website.

How To Grow Businesses Using Articles

Filed under: Article Marketing — Rob Metras @ 6:00 am
by Rob Metras

Being an entrepreneur is supposed to be fun! You come up with a unique concept, add capital funds, and strive for success. Of course there is an ingredient you need that you cannot directly control, and that ingredient is customers. Without clients your business will not grow. One way to gain respect from your market and gain clientele is through article writing.

In what ever type of business you do, grow your reputation with articles. Everyone reads the newspaper, and local sales guides. Be the advertisement that everyone sees when they open up the Sunday paper. This will get so much exposure that you can be able to start to service those clients you need and build that reputation you want.

Meeting with someone to help you figure out what you want your mark to be in your community and in your field is best when your about to have the world take a look at something you pride yourself on. An article about your business entails details of yourself. You become the brand of your product. Just think if there were two bakeries on the corner of your house and you wanted some bread; the one that has the cheaper prices is really rude, but the one that offers great customer service and help is a little more expensive. You would definitely go to the one thats a little more pricey to get treated the way you want to be treated. That’s call branding your company.

Increase Your Stature with Articles. Design your articles with your clientele in mind and give your potential customers the scoop on what your business is all about what makes your business special. Use the article as an opportunity to tell the general public what a great family person you are, that you pride yourself on doing right, that you believe treating customers with respect and kindness is the best way to grow a successful business. Make your potential customers get to know you and help them feel comfortable by seeing your face and your company each week make them a part of your family.

By putting in the money and effort into an Internet or local newspaper-based article will provide a ten-fold return on investment acquainting the world with your business. Everyone likes to read about new ideas and successful businesses. Folks like new things and new business ideas. Remember to be creative and don’t be afraid to expose your own personality. By being personal in your article you are making it clear that you have nothing to hide and that you are open to everyone and more than happy to be of service.

If you have concerns about where to spend marketing dollars or just want examples of where to being, speak to other business owners. Discover what routes have worked for others and try to duplicate successful strategies. Do formal \”market research\” to determine what articles work best for your target clientele. Not only will you generate ideas for articles doing this sort of research, but you will accumulate statistics regarding costs and market impact of various strategies. You do not have to guess, you can do research to make more certain that the strategies you try are likely to have a positive impact on the clientele you seek research can help ensure you highlight the value your customers seek.

Let us assume you currently own a locally popular business. The community knows you well or at least everyone knows your business exists and they know something about you. It’s wonderful having the respect of the local customer base, but now you want to grow your current market share or expand into new locations. Clearly your existing customer base is valuable, but you want new customers to make your expansion successful what can you do? TV ads can be effective, but perhaps too expensive. Newspaper articles and Internet postings are more affordable and may be more effective. Articles can help customers get to know you, help them understand where your business adds value over the competition, and ultimately help the larger community feel like they know you personally. Of course you will want to quote your current customers to lend credibility to your claims of being a service-oriented company and best value provider.

So grow your reputation with articles. Don’t be the only one not seen in the Sunday papers. Don’t be left out of the loop where everyone is snatching up new clients every week and no one is left for you. Be the top gun in your business field with people. Let the market know that you are here and by telling them how much you would appreciate their business. Now start your typing!

The greatest benefit of article marketing is that is an absolutely free method anyone can use to get free traffic to their site. This is an easy process of using the article, which has a back link at the bottom, to send people who have read it to a website that has more information. The best place to submit articles is site where you know they have a great deal of traffic every day; an increase in visitors to your site should happen quite quickly.

For the best response, a website or blog for example that is well visited each day is the best place to submit it; it shouldn’t be too long before your site starts to receive traffic from this. Acceptance of content at sites like this is a little like a ‘thumbs up’ to you as well and can be of great benefit; trust is probably more important on the Internet because most people are faceless.

If you perform this article marketing and submission process on a regular basis, people will begin to search for your material and trust your work. This is why it is so important to show people that you know what you are talking about so they trust the content you provide in the area you write about.

Although it can take a while, this traffic from people that trust you will help your own search engine ranking; this can help improve your organic visitors as your positioning on Google improves. The more websites that link to yours, the more traffic you will achieve; more importantly, none of this traffic actually costs anything at all!

Article marketing not only allows links in the body text of the article but in the resource box at the foot of the page. The purpose of good articles is for people to use them on their site, with each having the links to your site contained in them which all helps the ranking.

It is not unusual for Google and other search engines to take months before they start to list a website. Although you cannot rush the search engines directly, submitting more articles and using the authority sites will help enormously.

The content on your website is what brings the search engines and hence visitors so therefore part of your article marketing campaign should be to continually add fresh content to your website. Don’t forget that many visitors to your site are not visiting to buy something. The more truthful you are about what you are doing, the more visitors will appreciate it providing the information you supply is relevant to their search.

Once on your site it is not a complicated matter to show your visitors what it is you are selling. Doing it this way ensures the visitor is not mislead and is happy to be shown what you are selling. The last thing you want after making the sale is to return the money so by doing carrying out this process you lessen your chance of it happening.

If you want visitors to your websites then you must continue your article marketing this way; this process must be repeated on a regular basis for it to work. Do You Know How the Google Search Engine Really Works?

Filed under: Article Marketing — Henry Zeng @ 3:24 pm
by Henry Zeng

While we don’t often think about - or care - how Google works, it is very important for anyone who is using search engine optimization, or natural search marketing for their business to understand the basic principles that drive the Google search engine.

In simple terms, there are three main parts to Google: Googlebot, The Indexer, and the Query Processor. Understanding how each of these three parts works is very important to online businesses, believe it or not. Let’s take a look at each of the Google elements to see how they work.

Googlebot is the search engine spider that visits your website and spiders your pages. It isn’t an actual spider, of course.

It actually works more like a web browser by calling a server, requesting pages, and downloading them - just as you do when you open your web browser, type in an web address, and the page loads.

Googlebot, however, is run by big number of computers and performs this task much faster than one user could on their home or work personal computer. And Googlebot doesn’t know if a website exists until a URL is put into their Add URL form, or until they find a link point to that site on another web page.

When Googlebot comes to a page, they take all the links from that page, and put them in a queue for crawling, and repeat this process over and over again. Once Googlebot has found a link, and downloaded the page, it hands that page off to the Indexer.

The Indexer stores the pages in Google’s Index Database. The Index then sorts all of the pages in its data base, alphabetically, by looking at all of the keywords on the pages. The Indexer does not pay any attention to what Google calls stop words, such as is, on, or, why, how, etc. It just pays attention to more important keyword type words.

The Indexer, after Indexing pages, waits for the Google Query Processor to ask it for a list of documents. A keyword is given by the Query Processor, which in turn asks the Indexer for a list of websites that contain that keyword.

The Indexer then supplies the Query processor with a list of the documents, and the Query processor presents the results to the user who requested the keyword.

As you see, each element is important to the others. It all starts with the Googlebot finding your webpage link on another page, or by you going to Google and using the Add form to list your website.

Is Article Marketing Really Any Good?

Filed under: Article Marketing — Mark Thompson @ 2:48 pm
by Mark Thompson

It’s no great secret that the way to gain ranking positions in the search engines is by getting back links. Up to recently this used to consist of contacting other webmasters and asking them to link to your site in return for linking to theirs. Unfortunately this form of reciprocal linking is no longer as useful as it once was. One way links are now the key. There is no better way to get lots of one way links than by creating and distributing articles.

Regular new content is important for any website. By writing and distributing articles you can provide site owners with new content and at the same time get a back link or two for your site. In this article I’ll attempt to answer some of the most common questions asked by people considering article marketing as a way to promote their sites.

What should I write about?

It is important that when you start out you write about what you know. You should also ensure that the content is relevant to the site you’ll be promoting in the resource box.

How are site owners going to find my articles?

Once you have written your article you submit it to Article Listing websites. These website provide a categorized list of articles that are free to use on websites as long as certain conditions are adhered to. One of these conditions is that all links must be live. When you submit your article you add a short biography and a link to your site in the resource box.

Won’t people just remove the links?

This does happen occasionally but it is still quite rare. when you write your articles add a unique phrase to the article. You can then search Google to find your articles and make sure your links are intact. If you find that a webmaster has removed your links then just send him an email and ask him to remove the article or make the link live.

What length should the articles be?

There is not set length of article but anywhere from 200 words to a maximum of 3500 words is normal. Personally I usually aim for 350 -500 words as this usually sits nicely on a page

What is the ideal number of submissions?

That is a matter of personal choice some people believe that you should submit them to as many as possible, personally I only submit to 2 or 3 sites with a Google PR of 3 and above. My personal belief is that this keeps the articles unique enough to benefit any webmasters who use the articles.

Should I write lots of articles?

The more you can write and distribute the better. It all depends on how comfortable you are with writing. This is my second article today while my wife has written 10. Set yourself a target to start with. For example try to write 1 article before your first coffee.

Tips For Writing Successful Articles

Filed under: Article Marketing — Theo McLanahan @ 4:35 pm
by Theo McLanahan

Writing articles is an effective way to express yourself, whether for website promotion, your blog, or to become a professional writer.

Keep in mind that content is always king. The better your ideas are organized, the more publicity your article will get. There are two basic things to keep in mind when writing an article:

1. Keep the language as simple as possible You want your writing to reach the largest possible number of readers, so you want to write it in the simplest language you can while still getting your points across. Writers for magazines and newspapers often write to a fourth grade reading level.

In other words, they’re using language that could be understood by a fourth grade reader.

This does not mean that they don’t possess the capabilities to write in hi-fi language, they just wish that the news should reach to more and more people. But surely, using simple language is not possible for all types of publications. Many of the magazines related to technical issues, social commentary or politics will use such complex language to put the audience away from the actual facts. But for such kind of writing, appropriate level of complexity is needed. Apart from such magazines, it’s always preferred to use simplest and straightforward writing style.

(2) Represent your ideas in an interesting manner Your ideas should be represented in such a way that they are useful to the audience. The better you frame your ideas, more readers will be attracted towards your article. Organize your ideas in such a manner that it entertains the readers. Make sure that don’t write whole descriptive stuff so that the readers feel bored. Most of the articles written for the internet or for magazines are in classic style known as “five paragraph essay”, which is an ideal format for writing articles in brief. If this style is followed then you can express your ideas in a very beautiful way with the good and interesting start and end.

Five paragraph essay ” Step by step guide

1. First paragraph - An introduction to the topic of your articles and any related ideas in it.

2. Second, third and fourth paragraphs - Support and expand on the introduction, giving more information about the topic.

3) Fifth paragraph: - Conclusion-which fully summarizes the topic and contains the purpose of the topic of article being written.

If you can use the 5 paragraph essay format effectively, you can write for the internet or magazines. Use the simplest language you can, organize your ideas effectively and you’ll be a successful writer before you know it!

Internet Article Marketing and How To Increase Your Traffic

Filed under: Article Marketing — James Comer @ 5:25 pm
by James Comer

Internet article marketing is a type of advertising which businesses use to advertise by writing short articles which are related to their industry.

Internet article marketing works! Have you ever wondered why there have been alot of article directories cropping up on the internet for the last year or so? Article marketing works very well at getting lots of traffic to your website without costing you any hard earned money spent on advertising services.

If your niche is very competitive, your costs can begin to add up fast. Sometimes you’ll tally up your finances and find that you have a negative ROI. This is easily avoided by using internet article marketing.

By using article marketing, you can become a known expert in your particular niche(s).

When you employ internet article marketing, you’ll soon have lots of quality back-links to your website.

How Do I Go About Using Internet Article Marketing?

You know, the web is made of lots of websites. These sites contain tons of content. People usually search for this content with a particular subject in mind. This information is found easily by a search engine. What a search engine does is go out and follow from link to link on the internet. The search engine collect this information and digests it and catalog and index it using the information and the keywords found on each page.

The search engines give you the best information that they have about the subject you are interested in. They do this by carefully cataloging and arranging the information that they found when they were crawling the web. This information has to be accurate, and be closely related to the term that you searched on. If they are written well, articles are considered a very valuable information source from which to learn.

If a website is to keep it’s visitors returning on a regular basis, the webmaster must provide their visitors with interesting, timely, and accurate information. These factors are vitally important for someone who maintains a website or blog on a daily basis. If the webmaster wants to climb high and remain there in the search results for his particular niche, he has to post new information to his site every day.

As I’m sure you are aware, you need to post everyday to your website, and this can gobble up alot of your valuable time. As a webmaster, you can supplement the content on your site with quality, well-written articles authored by other people. The only requirement is that you leave the author’s resource box intact including keeping the links live if that is how they were when you retrieved the article from the article directory.

Tell Me What An Article Directory Is

Article directories are websites that have alot of articles stored in one large database. The articles are arranged by their different topics. Authors are encouraged to submit their articles there. Bloggers and other webmasters (a.k.a. Publishers) can find free articles to post on their own website so long as credit to the original author is kept intact. Article directories have volumes and volumes of information on just about any subject that you might be able to think of, probably some that you haven’t even thought of.

You’ll find specialized article directories which only accept articles whose subject is about certain niches such as computer technology, or skin care. You just need to read the submission rules and each directory to see what is permissible and what is not. Most topics are allowed as long as they don’t promote hate speech or advocate violence.

How Do I Benefit In Return For Submitting My Articles To The Article Directories?

At the end of each article there is a place where the author can place his or her ‘resource box’. This resource box contains a short blurb of one or two sentences about the author as well as a sentence or two with a link embedded pointing them to the blog, or website of the author for more information regarding the subject that the article was written about.

When you submit your articles to an article directory, you’ll gain many benefits. Not only will you get free marketing from it, you’ll also get lots of exposure.

Research is Important

Just like any aspect of marketing, internet article marketing is not any different. You need to research the topics of your articles. You can do this by looking at and reading blogs and visiting forums which are relevant to the subject that you are writing about. Often a good place to start is to see what people are “talking about”. Now that you have a topic, or probably several topics to write about, you should be able to write an article between 300-700 words without too much trouble.

I’ve Written My Article, Now What?

First thing to do is to post your article on your website or blog. Wait a couple of weeks to a month until your article has been indexed in the search engines. You’ll be able to tell by searching for your article title in quotation marks. After you find it, it’s alright to submit it to the article directories. This is the way to do it in order to minimize chances of any duplicate content penalties.

Wait a month? Are you Serious?

There is a new method of writing unique versions and submitting them to your articles directories and your own website. It’s possible to easily submit this article to over 700 websites as well. This serves two purposes- first, you aren’t trashing the article directories with more duplicant content, they get enough of that everyday. All you have to do is pick a few articles from one of the top directories, and search for them and then read the links you find and you’ll see how almost completely, if not ‘comepletely’ the articles are word for word the same as on other sites.
