Many websites that I see claim that they have an easy way to make money online and it’s free. Many people have such a strong desire to make money online, that they blindly follow this advice.

Can you really learn to make money for free? Well let’s consider this. If you were making real money online, why would you be giving your secrets away for free? Are people really that good natured that they will gladly spend their time teaching you and others all their secrets free of charge regardless of the competition that it would create for them?

Can you imagine anybody who is making real money online offering his secrets to the world? The competition is huge, why would they want to give them away. You have to find your own niche if you want to really want to be successful in an online business

Those who succeed in online business are often prepared to coach others, but they charge a high price. To learn a profitable online business can cost thousands and then the recipient often never makes any money at all

What is the secret? How can you learn to make money online? It lies somewhere in the middle. Your best bet is to find someone who will give you some help and be kind enough to keep his charges down. You need to be talking of about $100 up front with very little follow on cost.

Online you will find hundreds of eBooks, many of which contain very valuable information, but there is also a lot of garbage that is not worth a penny. Beware of spending a lot of cash to learn to make money online, think of where it comes from. Be certain that the writer know his business.

You will have to take risks. Everyone who has ever succeeded in an online business has failed before. If you dont take the chance, you cant win, that’s the way life is. You will make mistakes, we all have, but you must learn from them and not make the same mistake again. You can only learn so much from others, at some stage you will need to go your own way and work with what succeeds for you.

Never forget, there is no such thing as a free lunch, you have to speculate to accumulate. Just make sure that you do not pay too high a price

Swipe File Secrets

Filed under: Article Marketing — John Anghelache @ 3:59 am
by John Anghelache

The late, Gary C. Halbert, is my favorite copywriting mentor. Not only was he ultra-successful but he could teach the art and science of crafting ad copy like nobody’s business.

One of the things I learned from Gary is the importance of making things easy on yourself. For example, let’s say you want to write an ebook on losing weight.

What’s the best course of action?

Should you study weight loss science? Should you spend years doing clinical trials? Should you roam the world looking for the perfect diet plan or diet pill? Well not really. Because there is a much easier way to access the most cutting edge weight loss science, clinical trials and new diet breakthroughs. Without doing all the work yourself. Curious? Then listen to this.

Rather than doing things the old school way, Gary might tell you to go out and get the best sellers on health and fitness. Take all these books and start reading them. As you do so, write down notes in a notebook. Make sure to extract all the really juicy stuff readers would be hot read about.

Then you take all that information and write your own dieting book including only the unique and exclusive stuff from each book. The stuff that does not overlap. What you are left with is a compact book on dieting with all the filler taken out.

Easy does it best.

This lesson applies to crafting promotions. You can shortcut the entire process and create great space ads… websites… and… other forms of advertising quickly.

The technical term for this copywriting technique is called… swiping. And boy does it ever work! Gary even held an entire seminar on copywriting. The bulk of that seminar focused on how to swipe blockbuster ads ethically and legally.

You do not have to become a great copywriter to swipe. Learn to do it the right way and a lot of obstacles to creating advertising that works will disappear.

When you do, here’s what’ll happen as a result…

** Thing’s like writer’s block will no longer plague you. Everything you need to begin writing a great ad will be there in the swipe. Blundering your way through thinking about what to write won’t be a problem either. The swipe contains everything you need.

** You’ll crank out ads in record time. The swipe ad is there to help you write faster. You no longer have to figure out what to say to a prospect. Everything is there for you in the swipe.

** The effectiveness of your ad will increase. By using a proven template you boost your chances of writing a winning promotion. That’s why using swipes is such a powerful concept.

Don’t even think about writing another ad before you have a swipe at your side.

stumblehere suprised me

Selling my vehicle on stumblehere.com was painless. I was suprised because I have never heard of this site before.

I posted my ad on craigslist and somebody contacted me saying they we using stumblehere.com with great success.

As soon as he told me he was with some other website I was turned off. I told him that I wasn’t interested. I sure am glad that he has dealt with people like me in the many times. He kept on just trying to get me to listen.

But I finally listened and decided to try out the classified ad syndication. I learned that ad syndication is all about getting my ad on all of the high traffic sites. As long as my stuff sells I am happy.

So I went to the stumblehere.com website and posted a classified ad. I then upgraded it to make it a featured ad on their site and added ad syndication. I wanted to get my ad on as many websites as possible.

Stumblehere will be my classified site for life. I sold my vehicle and am excited it went soo smoothly. I did not think it would work, but it did.

Public domain ebooks provide internet business owners with a plethora of business building possibilities. In fact there are too many ways to use public domain ebooks to build your business, however the five presented here are a very good start.

Before we dive into how to use public domain, its important to understand what it is. Public domain content is content which is not owned by anyone and in most cases the copyright has expired which means the material is free to be used and reprinted. You can use the content as is, reformat it, polish the content with your own personal touches or add updated and relevant information. The trick is to find public domain material in your niche industry or topic however once you do, the skys the limit.

ebook Bundle: One possibility is to compile a few public domain ebooks into a package. For example, you could bundle a collection of books on how to start a home business. A collection of books may generate more profits and offer more value than single book sold independently.

Create an Ecourse. Its only natural that people who are interested in purchasing e-books from you are actively seeking a learning experience. Why not take the public domain e-books you find and create an e-course that can be distributed via an automatic email series for those who opt in? You will not only get the subscribers to keep coming back to your website to increase traffic, but if they like the e-course they will be more likely to purchase the products you recommend and even refer their friends.

Bonuses! Public domain ebooks make ideal bonus products for your current offerings. If you presently offer a digital product then you can simply attach a public domain product to your sales and download page. If you sell a physical product then your public domain book can be printed and shipped along with your primary product.

Grow your Subscription List. Find a public domain ebook that is on a relevant topic to your mailing and give it as a gift to those who subscribes. If you offer an ebook with tremendous value and show how your potential subscribers will benefit, it might give them more incentive to sign up.

Rework into New Formats. Public domain e-books are readily available for whatever you want to use them for. People like to consume information in many different ways. You can put content into audio recordings, videos or whatever your audience likes. You can sell these new formats, offer them as gifts or just post them on your website to draw in traffic.

All Types of Content: How Are You Using Them?

Filed under: Article Marketing — Zachariah Scott @ 6:55 am
by Zachariah Scott

Not so many years ago, the world wide web was nearly all written content. Audio, video and music was available, but was considered a luxury ” even in fairly recent years. Sites like iTunes and YouTube seem to be prominent no matter which site you visit, meaning another weapon can be added to your arsenal of online content possibilities. Text, audio and video have there place, but it is the way you use the content that wins the game.

Here are a few examples to help stimulate some ideas:

Articles: Post articles to your website and distribute them to other publishers.

Blog Posts: Write posts to your own blog and offer to guest post on other popular blogs.

Checklists: Produce your own checklist or flowcharts to teach others your methods ” give them as a free download.

4.) Special Reports: Write a short, no-fluff report about your target niche.

Workbooks: Add a practical workbook to compliment your content, so your readers can take action on the information you provide.

6.) Podcasts: Publish to well known podcast directories to become well known as an expert in your niche.

7.) Webinars: Conduct monthly ‘call in’ interactive shows that offer top end knowledge and expert interviews.

Screen Capture Video: Illustrate how to use a website, software or how to do just about anything on a computer screen.

Personal Video: Converse with the camera and your target audience. Talk about your successes and and offer how-to information.

Although the mediums of information easily consumed on the Internet have changed, the use of the Internet as an information source has remained throughout the years and will continue long into future. Grab your prospects attention by answering their questions, helping them solve their problems and even keep them entertained with your high quality content.

The Quickest Way To Accept Credit Card Payments Online

Filed under: Writing — Justin Harrison @ 1:05 pm
by Justin Harrison

It is very important for online business owners to offer the options that customers want. Credit card payments are the most convenient payment method for consumers, and while having several payment options gives the user a choice, websites which accept credit cards show higher revenues from sources such as impulse buys.

Ecommerce sites may arrange to accept their customer’s credit card payments by one of two ways. The first is by establishing a merchant account with the business owner’s personal bank, the second to use a third-party service for processing the payments.

Internet businesses have a much harder time gaining approval for merchant accounts than brick and mortar retail businesses despite the fact that almost all banks offer merchant accounts and processing gateways to all of their account holders.

PayPal and other third party services do away with the need for an account with the merchant. They also offer real time payment and fund transfer into the account of a business owner for a small fee, which is usually a small flat rate plus a percentage of each transaction’s sale.

Due to this, Paypal provides an excellent service that allows you to take credit cards, and it also provides a shopping cart that sites owners can install on their site, it also provides currency conversion in real time, and it is capable of taking payments in the forms of electronic debits or echecks.

PayPal and other third-party services present a more easily obtained method of banking for the newly starting small business. Their services are often also more affordable than typical banks and they are significantly faster at processing credit card transactions too.

Article Writing for Beginners

Filed under: Writing — Jan Shimano @ 11:37 am
by Jan Shimano

Does the thought of writing articles that millions of people could read over the Internet intimidate you? If your answer was ‘yes’, then I can assure you, you have lots of company.

There are a few things that hold people back from attempting to write articles. To begin with, they are unsure about the subject matter they should write about. If a person is writing purely for pleasure, then he would write about things he felt strongly about and that he had some expertise in. However, many people wish to have their articles published to help them generate leads for their business. That being the case, they would want their article to be able to relate back to that business.

A stumbling block for many is the feeling that they just don’t have enough material. This is probably the easiest hurdle to overcome. If you just Google search your subject, you will come up with thousands of postings dealing with that very subject. I suggest you read quite a few of these postings to get a general idea as to where you would like to go with your particular article. A word of warning here though…..it goes without saying, that you would not copy another persons material.

There is absolutely nothing new under the sun! Everything has been written about before. Nobody holds a patent on their thoughts and ideas, so you can get as many ideas from other people as you think you need. We all have our own way of expressing ourselves so even though the ideas might be the same, each piece of writing will be unique. The very things I am writing here in this article have been written numerous times before, but no one has said them in exactly the same way as I have. You will be well on your way to producing articles when you get over this stumbling block.

You will find that the article directories recommend that your article be between 400 – 600 words. I can assure you that this is nothing like writing a book…..well, perhaps one page of a book!! You are not going to get writers block while writing a short 400 – 600 word article. In fact, what I have found is that sometimes my articles has ended up being too long, and I have had to cut them back.

You want to really grab your reader’s attention in the very first paragraph. Of course you will want to have good content throughout the article but your first and last paragraphs are crucial. Sometimes the reader will scan through the middle portion of the article, but that is not always the case. That last paragraph has to wrap everything up neatly for them. You want your personality to show in your writing so I suggest you write as you speak. Some people who do not want to write their own articles outsource them. However, it is very difficult for a cohesive personality to shine through when your articles are written by numerous people.

I would highly recommend that you give article writing an honest effort. The rewards are fantastic. Without any prior writing experience, even my first article got on the first page of Google. Remember, people are reading your article to receive information. They are not there to critique your grammar. You are not writing the article for your English teacher, but for a public who are thirsting for solid information. Give them what they are looking for and they will be happy…and so will you!

Unique Article Wizard Sends Unique Articles To Target Audience

Filed under: Article Marketing — Sonja Schuyler @ 9:29 pm
by Sonja Schuyler

Article submission is becoming a very popular way to promote your online business. Write an article that provides value to your readers. Suggest ways they can get more information or point them in the direction of your website, blog or adsense ads.

Getting your articles to your target audience is the hardest part. You can spend a lot of time and effort and still not get the kind of results you want. You might also spend a lot of money on an article submission service.

Here is the problem with online article submissions. On the internet it is not just about providing content, it is about providing unique content. That is where all the submission services fall down. Every one of them sends out the same article all over the place. The search engines pick them all up, but then they sort through them and find they are all the same. They still remain indexed, but their value diminishes. They show up in the search engines less, and their links back to you count for less.

This is where Unique Article Wizard comes in as a wonderful solution. It submits a different unique article to more article directories, ezine publishers, and announcement groups than any other submission service.

Unique Article Wizard provides a simple control panel that keeps all your articles organized so that you know which articles have gone out for which domains. You can see instantly which articles have been sent out, and which are still waiting to be sent.

Unique Article Wizard gives you unlimited article submissions. You also can use as many pseudonyms as you like.

Unique Article Wizard provides weekly statistics (for a year) for every article you have submitted, showing exactly how many times your article has been indexed by yahoo – and thus how many links are pointing back to you. Now you can see your article spread across the net as publishers and webmasters pick it up and reprint it! No other service does this.

You also have the option of adding a link to your article that is automatically encoded with your affiliate ID, so you can earn money without lifting a finger! This feature is optional and is totally up to you.

by Don Bethune

Many people who run a business or some type of service that requires communication with the public may sometimes wonder how they can communicate with the general populace effectively, but lack the forethought to take advantage of the most popular means of doing so available – the press release.

Indeed, a press release can be a great way to communicate positive information about your business or activities that can drive people to your business or make public sentiment towards your business turn positive. If you want to get your business out in the public sense, using a press release can help.

Website owners have many different ways they can create website traffic. Of course these means are often traditional but other times are nontraditional. By opting into a press release a website can attract those curious people who want to know why you issued a release.

Through a website traffic monitoring system is where the effects of a press release can really be seen. Programs like these work to track all spikes in traffic and changes in the overall trend of visitors directed at your press release. Overall, this allows you to see how the press release really benefited you.

Another added benefit of the website traffic monitors are that they allow you view the ups and downs in the website traffic. With this handy piece of information you can alter your press releases to draw more attention to your website based upon what the up-spikes were focused on.

Although a press release may seem like the ticket to getting a lot of attention on your business: They are not made for all businesses. One example would be an adult website owner trying to get traffic to his site. Most likely, a press release about your newest adult content is not the way to go.

Only use a press release to give out information that is worthwhile in your customer’s eyes. Always take the utmost caution and refrain from issuing too many releases as it can put a big question mark over your business sense. However if you do not release enough; there is a lack of communication, and your business looks sketchy.

No matter what business you are running; online, product line, or just a website with facts – a press release works. It is an outstanding way to get your good information out to the public so that they know what is going on with your program. With effective usage of a press release, success and more business is almost guaranteed to follow.
