A blog can be an excellent tool for expanding your business, not matter what kind of business you have. One of the ways to increase your business opportunities is to have a website. Simple information that covers the who, what, where of what you offer is essential. Website traffic monitoring is an excellent way to determine how many hits you are getting. Beyond that, how complex your site is, depends on what kind of business you are running.

No bulk the size, arrangement and aggravation of your complete site, utilizing a blog can be an animate accoutrement for accession hits to your website. The appellation blog comes of advanced from Web Log, and by that it has frequently been a added airy as able as claimed admission to whatever activity the blog is about. Most blogs are in actuality of a claimed nature, frequently biographical and somewhat voyeuristic in nature. For a business, this adeptness be a bit too abounding admonition for your clients. But accurate your blog personable is a admired accoutrement to accepting bodies to acquire you as a applicative getting or accession for them to blot money on.

There are two main features to getting people to your business site, the first, is obviously to catch their interest and the second is to capture their trust. Website traffic monitoring can tell you where people are going to on your website. From there you can determine what you might need to do in your blog to increase traffic.

If you are going to blog in any event, it’s essential to have compelling content. In other words, you have to think from the consumer’s point of view, why is it that they are going to navigate to your blog in the first place. In general they will come to your blog from a link or a search because they are interested in the subject matter you are blogging about. So let’s say you own a small internet pharmacy and you want to get increased website traffic. You absolutely need to spend time planning and working on your blog so that it’s not only personal and somewhat informal, but that it actually is providing information, or creating a relationship between you and the reader. If the reader gets nothing worthwhle from your blog, there is absolutely NO REASON why they would ever want to navigate to your website.

The additional capital point to accepting eyeballs from a blog to a website is trust. In a blog that is business related, you are basically attempting to accord the clairvoyant a glimpse into your world. It ability be that you wish them to see that you are a competent professional, or that you are acute caring person. Or that you can photograph abundant weddings, or that your autogenous designs transform adaptable homes into palaces. What your blog’s angle in fact is, acutely depends on what you are accomplishing in business.

But beyond that, if you ARE successful in capturing your viewer’s interest, you have to be sure that the reader trusts you. If you come across as glib or your claims are fantastical, they are likely to click onto another person’s site. If for instance you are a healer, and your blog is so impersonal and clinical that the reader feels like your healing services will be cold and impersonal, you won’t convert their interest in what you are saying in your blog, into trusting you with their money. Again you need to step back from you blog and ask yourself realistically, if I didn’t know me or if I wasn’t writing this blog, how would I view it as a stranger would?

Lastly, and this should be apparent but frequently it isn’t, if you are traveling to blog as a agency of accretion cartage to your website, you in fact charge to accumulate your blog up to date, able and accept acquaintance advice that is responded to in a appropriate manner. Blogs that are above a ages old of afterlight lose relevancy. Blogs that attending half-hazard like a biologic induced certifiable advised them, will forward a brainy bulletin to your clairvoyant that you’re an amateur. And lastly, if anyone takes the time to ask you a catechism about your business accompanying blog and you abort to answer, or acknowledgment in a appropriate manner, that tells humans that your business is lame.

As you develop your blog, be sure to check on your website traffic monitoring for both your blog and your business site to see part that correlate. In other words, see which parts of your blog are effective in driving traffic to your website. As you see and make connections, you can continue to develop your blog along the lines of what works versus what doesn’t.

Using your blog to access cartage to your website is simple. Use accepted sense. Accumulate your blog, it’s design, it’s appellation simple. Don’t get too cute. BE SURE to accept links to your website!!! Be abiding to accept acquaintance advice in an accessible area so humans can acquaintance you. Once you accept the basics beneath ascendancy again you can beforehand to added circuitous issues like business and commercial your blog. But too abounding humans appearance this as the aboriginal step, rather than annoying about architecture and content. Start with the basics, plan your way up.

Beginners Guide to Make Money with Affiliate Marketing

Filed under: Marketing Articles — Brian Armstrong @ 9:19 am

Clickbank is one of the easiest ways to get started promoting products as an affiliate. Unlike other affiliate networks, you don’t have to have a website in order to be approved as an affiliate. In fact, you don’t have to do much of anything to sign up aside from have an email address. You can use clickbank.com as a means to generate easy links that you can use in any number of different internet promotion strategies.

Affiliate networks are another source of finding products to promote. These types of sites coordinate the relationship between the advertisers and the publishers. This may be a great way to get additional products and services to sell, but should be used after you’ve already gotten your feet wet elsewhere. Some more popular affiliate networks are Commission Junction, Link Share, and Share a Sale.

Another popular type of affiliate marketing is called CPA which stands for Cost Per Acquisition. This is a scenario in which the company whose products or services you’re promoting is going to pay you for a lead. So, when a visitor to your site completes some action, you get paid. This may be as simple as someone putting in an email address all the way through someone completing a survey or multi-page application.

If you were to take your links from Clickbank and try to find a place to start promoting affiliate programs, the easiest would probably be online classified ad websites. There are some major disadvantages. The main one being that because it’s free, there are a lot of other affiliates trying to do the same thing so the number of clicks you get back to your affiliate program may be relatively small compared to other sources and the conversion percentage may suffer. The important part to promoting on classified sites and anywhere for that matter is to make sure you’re using and keeping a record of the tracking IDs. Make a unique tracking ID for every site or advertisement that you use. If you don’t have a way to track your results, when you start getting sales, you won’t know where they came from and won’t know what to duplicate.

Article marketing is another way to drive some significant traffic to your website. The benefits to article marketing include the fact that many of the article websites rank very well with the search engines and usually get a significant amount of traffic internally as well. This means that you can submit articles to some of the more popular directories and have those articles read and reviewed. Your author profile or your resources box at the bottom of the article can include your link to your website. Some article sites have more strict guidelines on what you can or can’t use those for, so be sure to read the policies before you submit your articles.

You can use social media websites to promote an affiliate program as well. Some social media sites that are easy to use and easy to setup are Squidoo.com, Hubpages.com, Ning.com and several others sites similar to this that allow individual users to setup free accounts and create pages with whatever content they choose. These social sites typically have guidelines and some have regulations that might affect what you do to promote specific affiliate products. If you provide good solid advice and content, you’ll be ok with most of these types of sites.

Blogging is perhaps the easiest way to get a website created without having to learn html or some new software. Blogs can be used to discuss benefits of ownership of a specific product (which you’ll promote as an affiliate) or some service that you can also promote as an affiliate. One key to success with blogging is consistency. If you can be consistent with your blogging, you’ll add a lot of power to strategy.

You can develop a more traditional website which would be similar to wordpress on a self hosted site. In fact, there would be no difference for the most part assuming you’re using a program like wordpress to manage your content. The SEO tools and plugins that come with wordpress on a self-hosted blog scenario are very good. The idea here is to generate the kind of content that attracts people and keeps people on the site. Some ideas for how to generate this type of content can be found on copyblogger.com and problogger.net which are two excellent resource for how to make money using a blog.

Pay per click advertising is another way to drive traffic to your website or affiliate program. This is one of the methods that can have the best results based on the ability to track visitors and what actions they take based on what words they just searched for. With this knowledge comes significant power because if you can approach pay per click advertising scientifically and make this a “numbers game”, you’ll always be able to get traffic, test what converts and what doesn’t and keep what works and drop what doesn’t. This is a sure way to be profitable if you can get past the initial expense of the learning curve.

This article is meant to simply introduce you to some of the ways to promote affiliate products and services. If you’re serious about pursuing any of these methods, use the internet to find great content. Spend some time on some affiliate marketing forums and ask around what other people are doing and how they’re successful. Remember, though, nothing can replace actually getting out there and trying these things for yourself. There’s only so much you’ll be able to do without trying this first hand. Good luck with your efforts.

Can’t Write? Hire a Ghostwriter!

Filed under: Writing — Linda Van Fleet @ 7:16 am
by Linda Van Fleet

What do presidents, candidates for political office, political debaters and Internet Marketers have in common? Writers. We all need fresh content.

The political leader engages a speech writer; the webmaster outsources to a freelance article writer. Both entities are ghostwriters who receive no credit for his work. The speaker or webmaster receives all the glory.

Ghostwriters and speech writers have been used by our governmental leaders for 100’s of years. It has been reported that Alexander Hamilton was the speech writer for George Washington. If that is an accurate report, then Alexander Hamilton is probably the most famous ghostwriter of all times.

A ghost writer is a writer who works for hire and upon culmination of the project relinquishes all rights to the project. Nearly all politicians use ghost writers to write their memoirs, correspondence and speeches. Webmasters use ghost writers to write their articles because they either don’t have the time or talent to keep their website updated with original, tailored content.

In this article we are going to explore the process of hiring a ghostwriter to write those original articles for your internet site. Following are a few tips to help with the process:

Be prepared. Do not contact a ghostwriter without being aware of what you need. Do you require technical data? Will the articles necessitate in-depth research? How many words do you want? What idea do you want the article to impart?

Don’t tell the ghostwriter to “write me an article on weight loss” – a subject that has a multitude of subtopics and methods. If you don’t understand what you want I can promise you the ghostwriter will not please you, no matter how much they charge or how seasoned they are. They are writers, not wizards.

Be professional. If you desire to employ a freelance writer but you are clueless as to how much they charge or how they work you could end up losing your shirt. Hop over to Google and look up “custom articles”, “freelance writers” and “ghost writers” to see what the going rates are.

Some will publish their rates on the Internet. When you find what the “going rate” for ghosted articles is you can develop your budget for the expense. Or, after the research you may determine you can’t afford a ghost writer.

Ask for an estimate. Many times internet sites will publish their rates so you can easily determine what the project will cost. At other times you may need to ask for a quotation.

Or, perhaps you are advertising on one of the freelance sites such as elance.com or getafreelaner.com. As indicated in Item #1, Be Prepared. Cover the following points in your query or posting: a) the length of the Article (i.e. how many words); b) topic (or title) for each article; c) your Deadline; d) how much you will be able to pay; and, e) how you plan to pay them (paypal, google, etc.).

Be Very Specific. What do you want? Whether you believe it or not there is a difference in “content articles” for your visitors to read and “keyword articles” written to improve your SEO (search engine optimization).

Do you want both? Tell them. Find out if the ghost writer has expertise in people-pleasing content that will also delight the search engines and boost your search engine ranking.

Always keep your bottom line in view. Never overpay for your articles. Keep good record books of income vs. expenditures and remember that the reason you are engaging a ghostwriter to write those original articles for your website is to increase the traffic, hence the net profit, to your website.

The 3 Things To Avoid When Emailing Your List

Filed under: Marketing Articles — Henry Zeng @ 6:38 am
by Henry Zeng

When you decide to have an email list, it is not just a matter of sending your subscribers your promotional ads. There are many factors to consider in avoiding many complications. While there are so many ways you can encourage people subscribe to your list, there are also some things you must do to avoid subscribers from wanting to unsubscribe from your list.

It is crucial that you keep your list clean and manageable. Arrange it by using the many tools and technologies available for your email list. Your investment in this marketing strategy is well worth it with all the coverage you will get which will likely be converted into sales then to profit. As a tip, here are three things to avoid when emailing your list.

1) Not take notice of your unsuccessful sends. These are the e-mails that bounce. Bounced emails, also known as undeliverable emails, are those emails that, for whatever reason, were not successfully received by the intended subscriber.

There are bounces that happen or occur because the server was busy at that time but can still be delivered in another time. There are also bounces because the inbox of the recipient is full at that time. There are those bounce messages that are simply undeliverable ever. The reason for this is that it may be an invalid email address, a misspelled email address, or an email address that was abandoned and erased already.

Manage your list by putting markings on those that bounce. Erase an email account from your opt-in list so that you have an accurate statistics as to how many subscribers are actually receiving your mail.

2) Not provide an unsubscribe feature. When someone in your list files a request to be unsubscribed, always take that request seriously. If you don’t take them off your list and keep sending them your emails, you are now sending them spam.

When you are reported as a spammer, you and your business will get into a lot of trouble. You can be reported to the authorities and maybe blacklisted by many internet service providers. You will lose your current subscribers this way and potentially many more in the future.

3) Provide pornographic or shocking and disturbing content in your emails. It is sometimes hard to decipher the age of the recipient and you may get many complaints. Stick to the nature of your site and business.

Remember these tips so that you can have a healthy relationship with your subscribers as well as be kept within the boundaries of what is allowed in sending mails to an opt-in list.

Net Blogs for Good Reading

Filed under: Writing — Mary R Stewart @ 5:11 am
by Mary R Stewart

Traveling is my passion and collecting information on various topics is another. During my leisure time I visit different websites which give interesting information that add to my knowledge and where I can comment and exchange information with. Recently while net surfing I came across a very interesting website which gave quite a few blogs having correct and interesting information. There were wonders of the world along with scientific discoveries, history, geography, you name it and it was there.

There has always been Seven Wonders of the World which has been changing with the times. The seven wonders of the medieval Ages are different from the seven wonders of the ancient world, which are again different from the seven wonders of the modern age. New groups of wonders included the underwater world and the industrial world. It was quite a revelation for me. Read the www.blogthebest.com to see for yourself what I am saying. You will not be disappointed, only impressed.

The Wonders of the world are truly great. Just imagine the Victoria falls with the water gushing down reminds me of the Niagara Falls of the US and Canada, though Victoria Falls is definitely much more spectacular. Going through the creation of the Panama Canal and how it has shortened the route and saved millions of dollars is truly interesting.

A new scientific invention announced on a blog on this website talks of a shower which changes its color according to the temperature of the water flowing through it. Isn’t that great? Trust an interesting website like www.blogthebest.com to inform the readers of this new invention. It would be so convenient to use this item. There would be no need to test he water, nor any fear of it being too hot or too cold before starting it. One look at the shower and one will know if it is suitable or not. There are other blogs on effectiveness of houses, whether they would be whether conducive or not.

Those interested in discoveries and history, like me, are delighted with the blog which talks of a 2,500 old Greek ship which has been raised from the sea bed off the Sicilian Coast in Italy. The ship is 21 meters long and is the biggest and the most preserved wreck. Artifacts like lanterns have been found on the wreckage and it is felt that the ship might have been used to sail short distances and a storm might have been responsible for its sinking.

We stay in five star hotels and grander hotels but one certainly wonders what it would be like to stay in an Ice Hotel. This is a real hotel built every year in the north of Sweden in the Arctic Circle. The architecture is wonderful, the blog says, and it is created out of the surrounding ice which naturally melts as the temperature rises. But in the heart of winter this Ice Hotel is available for people to stay and have a unique and cool experience.

Chef Hugh Fernlay-Whittingstall in his show called ‘Hugh’s Chicken Run’ has changed the way of thinking of a whole lot of television watchers. In this show he has talked about chickens and their life. He has managed to convince thousands of people into buying free range eggs whose sales have risen by more than 50 % because of this show. He has done this to improve the quality of chickens and their welfare.

When you read such blogs, you are tempted to type comments on them. And there are quite a few readers who have done just that. This shows how popular this Blog The Best website has become.

There are many ways to generate creative ideas for blogs. Does your blog have a particular topic? If so researching online the latest news of that topic is a great way to generate creative ideas for your blog. For people with a more general blog there are unlimited possibilities to think up creative ideas. A secret tip that many writers use to think up creative ideas is to flip through magazines and newspapers and clip out interesting topics that grab your eye’s attention.

Keep them in a folder and whenever you need a creative idea all you have to do is grab a cut out article from your handy folder. You will automatically have a title idea for your blog and you can play around with the content. If the cut-out article was about the top five perfumes you can make it the top four designer perfumes and research the latest in that topic. Or just use the topic of perfume and blog about the reasons you hate perfume or about a smell that perfume is missing in today’s society. The ideas you can create is endless with this great trick for creative ideas.

It does not matter how old the article is because you are not going to copy the article it is just an idea to get you going. Brainstorming is another great way to gain creative ideas for blogs. Home Schooling Your Child Early

Filed under: Writing — Danise B. Keasda @ 3:49 pm
by Danise B. Keasda

Many parents worry about identifying the appropriate time to begin homeschooling their young children. What they do not realize is that quite often they have already begun homeschooling although they may not call it that. When you interact with your infant, talking to her, engaging her, you are homeschooling your child. When you teach your child how to tie his shoes or count to ten, you are homeschooling. Many parents “homeschool” their children without ever realizing it. But what the experts say is so true: education begins at home.

This shows us that it is never too early to begin homeschooling your child. There’s a lot to homeschooling besides teaching your child on a classroom-based model; you can let your child pursue their own interests to a large extent, which will show you as the educator a way forward to teaching your child in a way that will retain their interest. All parents do this as a matter of course, but few call the process homeschooling.

Homeschooling offers parents a chance to spend a lot of quality time with their child. You can count, read and write together. You can take your child on educational field trips such as to museums. There’s a lot to teach your child that you can’t find in a textbook. You and your child can learn from simply observing the world.

Interact with your child; as you do so, see what your child is interested in. This can help you to tailor your curriculum and assist your child in setting goals for themselves. You can see what kind of pace is suitable for your child and will keep them interested in learning. Homeschooling is something all parents do; official homeschooling is nothing more than an expansion of this strategy which helps parents to prepare their children for life.

The things you teach your child when they are still quite young can give them a foundation for their educational future, be this homeschooling or traditional classroom education. Every time you help your child to learn, even something as simple as writing a letter to their grandparents, you are helping your child build a love of knowledge and of learning which will serve them well for their entire lives.

Our society has some very set ideas about education ? we think of school as a process which begins in kindergarten at the age of five and continues at least until high school about the age of eighteen. Many parents would prefer that their children instead be allowed to learn at their own pace however ? this is why a lot of parents opt to homeschool their children. Perhaps it’s best to ask not when to begin homeschooling your child, but rather where to go next; since as a parent, you already homeschool your child!

How To Drive Easy Free Traffic To Your Website

Filed under: Article Marketing — Brian Armstrong @ 3:34 pm
by Brian Armstrong

Getting traffic to your website is a major key to getting sales and making money. You can either pay for traffic with time or you pay with money and many times it is both. Even with pay-per-click, you will usually spend a significant amount of time in addition to a cost for each click to get targeted traffic to your website. The following are a few ways that you can get free traffic. Some of these are going to produce more targeted traffic than others, but each of these methods can get traffic to your website.

Starting a blog, whether on your own domain or even on a hosted site such as Blogger.com or Wordpress.com can give you a great advantage over just a regular website. The main thing that makes blogs great for getting traffic is that they have a built-in RSS feed. These RSS feeds allow search engines and several other directories or engines to index the content of blogs and do this very easily.

Social bookmarking is a great way to get easy links back to your main website and depending on the type of social bookmark site you’re using, you’ll have the opportunity to get a lot of traffic back to your website. Digg.com is one of the examples of this type of site that has the capacity to drive a tremendous amount of traffic back to your site. If you are interested in looking more into the social bookmarking scene, do some research on the top 100 “diggers” or “stumblers”.

There are dozens of places on the internet that you can create mini-sites or individual pages. These sites typically will allow you to post whatever content you want to post including your own RSS feeds from your blog, other websites, articles, video or whatever else you’d like to create in these pages. The main key to success with these types of sites is to make sure that you’re posting links back to your website, especially the deep links. Those RSS feeds included in the mini-sites or pages are a great way to get links back to your site. Also, create an individual text links using html or even images.

Articles are an excellent way to get high quality links back to your website which will generate visitors as well as search engine benefits. The search engines reward relevant links and articles represent the most relevant pages simply because you are in charge of the content of every article. So, if you’re trying to get your site ranked for a specific keyword phrase, you can create articles on these topics and use the resource box or author profile to link back to your website using keywords for which you’re trying to get ranked.

What would probably be considered the original “Web 2.0″ would be forums. Anything where you can interact in a community type setting with something topical or niche specific. Many forums will allow you to add a signature to the end of each of your postings. Depending on the forum, you can put a link back to your website, usually using whatever keywords you want to. Depending on your contributions in the forums as well as the call to action in your signature, you’ll get visits to your site as well as the search engine benefit of having those keyword phrases linked back to your website.

Many blogs get a lot of traffic and with the comments you can add on a lot these blogs, you’ll get people clicking through to your website. There are also what are called “dofollow” blogs that will help you with your search engine optimization as well.

These are some great ways to get free traffic but each of these requires an investment of time. If you’re willing to put in a consistent, dedicated amount of time each day or a few times per week. Consistency is a key part of success when it comes to getting traffic to your website.
