Postcards have proven to be a smart marketing tool when reaching your prospective customer base and assist them in choosing your products and services because of their attractive and vibrant colors. A very cost-effective way to communicate with your customers and keep them informed with relevant information. Although, postcards have been used as a marketing tool for a very long time, and with the advanced printing technology, black and white postcards have been replaced by full color postcards.

Full color postcards make an instant impact in the mind of the customers because of its eye catching and appealing design. In these days, customers are time starved and do not have the time to go through lengthy texts. Postcards offer higher readability than multi-page brochures, booklet, or catalogue and more cost effective. The simple format and the design entice the customer to glance through a postcard in shortest possible time while comprehending the message.

“Variable data printing” is a form of digital printing whereby full color postcards are given a more personalized approach to marketing. Offset presses are slowly becoming extinct with digital printing being a more popular printing method. With digital printing, each postcard can be personalized by you and with a unique design.

Color management has improved so much by offering you an opportunity to see the original print as shown on the monitor or during the design stage. You can make the postcard more attractive by adding metallic or fluorescent colors.

The choice of stock, substrate on which the final printing will take place, is also a critical parameter for ultimate look and the quality of the postcards. There are many choices available today for stocks like gloss finish, matte finish, pearl finish etc. Depending on the design, you have to select the stock. You can also decide to give some sort of special effect to the printed postcards to emphasize specific area of the text or image by applying UV varnish or special effect varnish.

Should you choose to use the offset printing method it is actually less expensive to print in larger quantities. But, if you have designed your postcard using the digital press method then print in small quantities. You can meet your budget requirements utilizing both processes.

Your promotional campaign will be seen as effective in reaching your potential customer base through the use of full color postcards and will not be time consuming for your customer to read your product or service update.

Statistics says that majority of the promotional mails go straight to the dustbin without being even opened by the customers. Full color postcards, by virtue of its vibrant colorful design, will ensure to make a long lasting impression in the mind of the customers turning them to your company’s loyal customers and helping your company to achieve their revenue target.
