Depends on what content are you interested. I write articles about beauty, fashion, modeling and similar content. I submit them in jurgita.com. It is probably the biggest modeling and fashion community and they also add a link to my personal website. Jurgita has about 80000 registered members so its quite a lot. Also i can see how many people have read my articles and how many commented. I have already got a proposal from administration to get some free credits for usage in their site.
I have submitted one article to ezinearticles.com as well, but i got no comments, so im not very interested.

I have placed about 200+ or so links on this previous answer as to submit your articles. Be sure to read the guidelines of these sites

In addition to those three, which are very good sites there is also iSnare and Wikihow. I recently wrote an article for Wikihow that got me an e-mail from the founder wanting me to revise so that it can be a featured article. You can bet that will drive some traffic. Make sure you write good, quality articles or they won't get picked up by anyone.
